Introduction to Myself

Hello! I am Samantha Poolson, but most of my friends and family address me as Sam or Sammy. Currently, I am a first year student at USF, majoring in Mathematics Education. I would say I am rather introverted, but recently I have been attempting to become more outgoing. Since I am shy, I feel I can express my personality and interests more freely on this blog. Although the blog is intended for course work from EME2040, I will try to add a few personal touches to my schoolwork to make the information even more interesting!

Before formally diving into coursework, I would like to share my interests and how they will intertwine with my blog posts. First, I love photography. Whenever I am out, I will try to capture moments to remember how I felt and the beauty of whatever I have caught. Although I am not a professional and only do photography as a hobby, I will include the photos that I feel relate to the topics to add some character to my blog posts. Second, I have a fascination with culture and the arts. I love observing and learning about different ways of life and capturing them through photography; therefore I will include the photos to add a new humane touch to the virtual blog.
